| At
Caldera Springs, the first new resort community in
the Sunriver area in over a decade, sales were as
spectacular as the views of snow-capped
Mt.
Bachelor
. At the premier priority selection event, held
this past weekend at Sunriver Resort, 203
homesites were sold.
The
initial selection event featured homesites from
1/4 of an acre to over one acre, priced from
$235,000 to $475,000.
New
owners came from as far as
Hong Kong
to participate in the Selection Event. Marge
Fallon from
Rochester
,
NY
said I flew all the way from upstate
New York
to buy a lot! The selection event was flawless and
I am very confident in the development.
Sam Yockey, who purchased a homesite, commented
The developers have taken the best of what they
learned from past communities and put it into
Caldera Springs.
The
new community is situated adjacent to Crosswater
on South Century Drive. Many buyers expressed
proximity to the world-class golf destination and
quality of the neighboring residential community
as key attributes to Caldera Springs.
Future
plans for the family friendly resort include a
Lake House and Pool and Fitness facility, designed
by renowned architect Jack Zehren and Associates,
of Avon, Colorado; a Bob Cupp and Jim
Ramey-designed 9-hole short course and 3-hole Golf
Park; over 12 miles of trails including bike and
soft walking trails; and several lakes that will
allow homeowners to fish, canoe and commune with
nature.
